Intellidriver Download

The Intellidriver allows Microsoft Windows applications to print directly to a Cognitive printer, without special software. The Intellidriver is free to owners of Cognitive printers. Before downloading the Intellidriver, read these directions carefully. First you will install the Intellidriver and then add the printer using the Add Printer dialogue.

Installing the Intellidriver

To install the Intellidriver:

1. Run the .exe file that you download. Accept the default directory:
   (c:\Program Files\Cognitive\Cognitive Printer Drivers)
2. Select Start, Settings, Printers.
3. Select Add Printer.
4. When prompted, click Have Disk.
5. Browse to the directory selected above, for example:
   (c:\Program Files\Cognitive\Cognitive Printer Drivers)
6. Complete the Add Printer Wizard.

Adding Additional Cognitive Printers

To install an additional Cognitive printer:

1. Select Start, Settings, Printers.
2. Select Add Printer.
3. Select Cognitive, then select the appropriate printer.
4. Complete the Add Printer Wizard.

NOTE: You do not need to remove previous Intellidriver printer drivers from your system. Some systems may require you to add the Barcode Screen Font (Simbar) using the Control Panel Font Utility.
